Fabricationss was started by Annie Ferguson in 2015 and is original, hand carved, block print designs on thrifted clothing, paper goods, and home decor, with a focus on up-cycling and wearable art. Annie is a self taught printmaker who has been screen printing and block printing in Los Angeles since 2016. Her work focuses on themes of community, growth, connection, and play, using traditional folk art imagery as well as simple shapes and graphics to convey universal messages in personal and relatable ways. Fabricationss also has a focus on re-use and sustainability, printing primarily on thrifted, second hand items and using paper waste generated from printmaking to create handmade paper for printing and paper clay for sculpting. While her main medium is block printing and printmaking, Annie is a multi-media artist who works both physically and digitally including hand drawn animation, digital design, paper crafting, hand sculpting, painting, and more!
