When is the fair happening?

Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18, 2026 • 10 am to 4 pm

What is the cost of Admission?

Admission for the LA Printers Fair is FREE when you work at least one 4-hour shift on Saturday or Sunday. Your ticket is good for both days of the fair. What a perk!

Where is the Fair Taking Place?

The Printers Fair is held at the International Printing Museum, which is located at 315 W. Torrance Blvd. in Carson, CA.

Is there parking at the event?

Yes, there is free parking for volunteers.

 

WHEN ARE THE SHIFTS?

Shifts are on Saturday and Sunday, 9 am to 1 pm and 12:45 pm to 4:45 pm.

We also have an early morning shift on Saturday 7:30-11:30 am, a late afternoon shift on Sunday 3-7 pm, and various event set-up shifts the week of the event Wednesday 3-7 pm, Thursday 10 am to 3 pm & 2-7 pm, and Friday 10 am to 3 pm & 2-7 pm. 

WHAT CAN I DO AS A VOLUNTEER AT THE PRINTERS FAIR?

Volunteers help with admissions, activity stations, print demos, facility maintenance, event photography, and more.

Will there be food?

Volunteers get a free lunch. There will also be food for sale at food trucks and the snack bar.

Can I get back into fair on the same day if I need to leave?

Absolutely! We will give you a ticket when you check-in, just show it to us at admission and we will let you back inside. Your admission is valid for both days of the Fair.

Can i use a CRedit card to make purchases or should i bring cash?

While the Museum and most of our vendors accept credit cards, it is a good idea to bring cash for snacks, souvenirs, and other quick transactions.

What happens if it rains?

The event is both indoors and outdoors but the outdoor sections are under a tent. A little bad weather won’t stop us!
